I am constantly looking for inspiration to style my dining table when it is not being used for dining. Grouping a number of similar containers of different heights seem to work well.
I love the copper tones, varying heights of the containers and the beautiful white flowers on this tabletop.
Or this dining table with the interplay of silver, white and sage. A number of inexpensive mercury vases and candle votives would be perfect here.
But the reality is you want something that you can quickly move out of the way when you actually want to use the dining table. This is where the idea of containing the styling within something else works beautifully.
Check out these planter box ideas.
And when you don’t have planter boxes, even some lovely platters and a casserole dish would do the trick!
